Obama’s AG Holder did just that. All charges were dropped against Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens (R)
due to prosecutorial misconduct and failure to provide exculpatory evidence, and conviction overturned in the court of judge Emmett Sullivan.

Same judge, same result, same reason for dropping charges, same President!

TL;DR Flynn said something, the FBI changed the transcript of what he said and charged him with lying. They then threatened his son so he'd plead guilty. He got better lawyers and they found out the FBI changed his testimony and the judge let him go.
