SO that said, there remain a number of other prophecies that some like to mock. Like Israel ceasing to be a nation, but in the end days, they will be gathered back to Zion (not the National Park) where they will make the desert bloom and be a blessing to the world, and yet only the size of New Jersey they will be the center of conflict. Sound familiar?
I could run down the list of proofs, but space precludes, so let's address some criticisms. The Bible is unscientific. First, it is not a science text, it's a book about relationships, God to man, man to man, man to wife, man to society etc. There are scientific facts interspersed, for example in the Book of Job, said to be the earliest known written document of mankind, God inquires of Job at a time when other belief systems said the world was resting on the back of an elephant, never mind what the elephant was standing on, or on the shoulders of a god named Atlas, "where were you when I hung the earth on nothing." I can go on about the discovery and mapping of ocean currents being inspired by a verse in the Bible, the Biblical inspiration for Christopher Columbus to sail west and a significant number of scientific references mentioned before they were "discovered", but I'll leave it with this from the Apostle Paul in Hebrews "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." Sounds like atoms to me, and that is the context. There are other "atomic" references, astronomical information which we just confirmed and the list goes on. Sir Issac Newton wrote more about the veracity of the Bible, than he did his proven laws of physics, which leads me to the unproven theories of scientific creation, a clear plagiarism of God's word. First there was nothing then it exploded. After that a somehow primordial ooze was struck by a spark of some sort and the first living organism was created and all life evolved by extremely precise accidents over millions of years until we have monkeys becoming men. Never mind how the 30 trillion of so cells made up of thousands of trillions of molecules made of of billions of trillions of atoms became a human being of irreducible complexity such that the organism cannot survive without all the components functioning. Darwin was afraid his theory would be destroyed if "one were to contemplate the eye." I'll leave that to you to contemplate. I wonder how asexual single cells evolved to
