As a candidate, I loved Bernie. He was the anti-politician. I really wanted him to get the nomination back in 2016. The debates with Trump and HRC were good, but imagine how much better they would have been with Bernie in there instead of Killary?
Policy-wise, he was a train running off the tracks into an existing train wreck, and the DNC knew it. That's why he never stood a chance of winning the democrat party's nomination (in 2020 or 2016.)
"do-nothing, lazy supporters can't seem to get off their asses and vote for him"
you do realize that the dnc forced primaries during a pandemic, right?

Well, first wave of voting didn't happen while there was a pandemic, so there's that.
Also, what I said is still true. There are a lot of Bernie supporters that don't go out and vote. One of the reasons he always starts out strong, then peters out.
bernie won the first 3 votes and quite a few more. the dnc also rigged primaries in illinois and texas to prevent minorities and people from the city from voting.
It was really remarkable how Biden pulled it off, despite having terrible debate performances, bad results in early states, poor fundraising, little media or online excitement, no advertising, and no ground game in most of the states he won
This defied a lot of folks' predictions, including my own
It turns out there was a silent majority of Biden supporters waiting in the wings
My new working thesis for primary elections is "Boomers decide, and that's it."
Oh well. Trump is a nightmare, so I guess I'm getting behind Biden.
It’s a two-party system in this country (the Electoral College being one key reason for that), and those of us civically minded enough to vote have got to support someone at the end of the day
Either the garbage person we have in office now or the other guy
YOU KNOW WHY BERNIE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT? OTHER THAN THE FACT HE'S PUSHING 80, HIS DO-NOTHING, LAZY SUPPORTERS CAN'T SEEM TO GET OFF THEIR ASSES AND VOTE FOR HIM
