Election interference vs. actually killing thousands or tens of thousands (or 100,000-240,000) Americans through negligence: Who would win?
Impeachment for one does not necessarily preclude impeachment for the other, but at this point, since impeachment has been shown to be constitutional dead letter anyway through the Senate's own fecklessness, likelihood is we voters will decide in November. Or whenever we get around to having the next election.
Admittedly, coronavirus is an unusually difficult situation, but those of us old enough to remember 9/11 (and I'm one of them) remember G.W. Bush's resolute leadership during those panicked days and how it contrasts with what we're seeing now.
Covid-19 is a slow-motion 9/11 and '08 financial crisis rolled into one that's hitting everywhere all over the globe all at once, only it's much worse than both of them put together and somehow we have a former reality TV star at the helm doing what he does best: holding daily press conferences and verbally defenestrating correspondents just doing their jobs.
What could go wrong?
