Ya for some reason when I looked it up I only got one far right website link and a bunch of non-related links, hence my previous reply. Though in retrospect I was doing a search for more of "is this true or false" so that might have been why.

I think the WHO really did tweet that, but despite the occasional mistake they are a reliable source of information compared to the fire hose of misinformation coming from the President. There is an effort to blame WHO, the Chinese and anyone other than Trump - who was receiving reports from the best intelligence agencies in the world warning him about the coming pandemic, and he was still trying to claim it was a democratic hoax and false news. Now that he is taking it seriously we're supposed to believe that he always knew it was a pandemic.

Agreed, if he hadn't been walking around shouting Hoax and "fake news" and encouraging Fox "news" to do the same people might have taken it a bit more seriously at the start and maybe we wouldn't have nearly as many cases as we do now. Regardless of wether he was doing anything or not he gave off the air that he wasn't, and that's not a good thing either way.

Except it doesn't debunk it it says it's a mixed bag, saying that he acknowledged the virus existed but still refereed to hit as the "new democratic hoax".
Considering most of his supporters tend to be a few brain cells short of a pair I wouldn't be surprised if most of them thought Democrats were making up a world wide pandemic for 2 months before an actual pandemic coincidentally appeared out of no where.

I'd recommend checking out this guy, he's a patent lawyer who makes videos explaining different legal cases (both real life and fictional ones) and does a good job explaining why people made certain claims and why rulings go the way they do. He also did videos on the impeachment and just dropped one here for the outbreak and I think he does a good job of trying to avoid finger pointing and instead trying to present things from either a legal perspective or a "hindsight is 20/20" perspective.
