Let me say first! If you don't wish to answer, don't do it then. This can be a bit personal. Still if you dare to speak out, I wonder if you can be honest.

For those unknown to the HP universe: The Mirror of Erised is a mirror that shows us the most desperate desires of our hearts. In Harry's case, because Harry's parents died when he was very young, his most desperate desire was to meet them again alive (the mirror shows neither knowledge nor truth, according to Dumbledore, and this also means that even unrealistic desires can be shown), and that's why he saw them in the mirror.

For me goes, that I may see myself with a loving wife while holding an award for my work as an author. At least that's what I think, as I am not really sure....

Probably seeing my husband and myself attending the premiere of a film for which I wrote the screenplay or one adapted from a story or novel I've penned.

That's funny, my own desire is not that far off.... Well "my husband" would in my case be replaced with "my wife" though (if I had one).

In a matter of interest, what do you write?

I write fiction for women (under my Anya Howard name), and columns and tween literature under another name. Years ago I worked as a consulting writer for a sci-fi series.

How about you?

I write fantasy stories in the Dutch language about a world named Phantasar. Aside from a nice to read story, I also reflect my own trauma's and anecdotes I've been part in on some my characters. If you know me from other sites you may have seen the green-haired girl I use for my avatar there. She is one of my characters, and one who represents a lot of the horrors of my own past. I know it's typical for a man to use a female character for that, but I did that on purpose to create a bit of a distance. She is not me, and her story is not completely the same as my own. I've even created a big lore behind the stories with alternate cultures, religions and even an alternate language (which I demonstrated here: imgflip.com/i/3rdqus ) and measuring system (in stead of km or miles they use yarkos to measure distances). I guess, I got into all that in full force before I knew it.
