When I visit family in Australia, this is EXACTLY what the waiting "room" looks like. Actually, it was more like a waiting auditorium. My mother-in-law had to wait almost six hours to see a doctor, and she explained that she was lucky to see the doctor that quickly.

(and no it wasn't free because she would have already been paying an absurd amount of taxes for it)

In this case, "free healthcare" means a long wait to see the doctor that is available that day, long delays for tests and procedures we almost take for granted in the US, like MRI's, assuming they'll let you have one based on your age.

If our health care system is so bad, why is it the destination of those with means from other countries that have free health care? You didn't hear that Mick Jagger went to Canada or Venezuela for his heart procedure... where did he go? Good ol' U.S.A.

Instead of destroying a great healthcare system, why not make it better?

- address the price gouging (including pharma) that comrade Sanders complains about
- ensure coverage for pre-existing conditions
- have an affordable govt option for those who need it
