A paragraph is a paragraph, which can be very important and helps one summarize. You just need to indent and put it 5-however many sentences you want as long as its not too many.

I make paragraphs, but they are indented at the most random spots of all time

Probably true. I am getting old - I still use paragraphs, and even indent the first line, when handwriting a letter.

Up until 2 years ago, my 94 yo grandmother would write me a Christmas letter every year that was just perfect flowing handwriting, just beautiful. I was always too embarrassed to write back in my sloppy cursive.

I always used to find the concept of a paragraph scary. But as I grew it became less of a daunting task to organize my thoughts in a way that wasn’t just a sentence.

It's a 'figure of speech'.
