As Spitoine so elegantly put it. So I guess we can't hope they're punished for their treasonous acts due to their service.

One of the clearest statements yet of the dictatorial mindset of Trumpists. | Answering a subpoena to testify in front of Congress TREASON? | image tagged in hmmm, treason,it's treason then, congress, trump impeachment, impeachment | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Folks who were served with Congressional subpoenas but instructed by Trump not to answer them were put in a difficult position

Testifying would put them in defiance of the Executive Branch, not testifying would put them in defiance of the Legislative Branch

They were caught between a constitutional rock and a hard place and neither decision amounts to treason.

The blame is on Trump for not offering a valid reason to oppose these subpoenas. The lazy invocation of “executive privilege” is not availing in most cases.

The Democrats obviously had no intention of pursuing those subpoenas- they wanted them to use as an obstruction charge only. Why is it so difficult for you to see the true intentions of the House in this mess?

"The Democrats obviously had no intention of pursuing those subpoenas-"

LOL okay. Many of us were actually interested in what Bolton and the rest had to say about this.

And you should have been, too!

The man in the picture is a combat vet, purple heart recipient with 20yrs service. Other awards he has received:
Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2nd award), Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (4th award), Army Achievement Medal (3rd award), National Defense Service Medal , Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4th award), Valorous Unit Award, National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation, Presidential Service Badge, Joint Chiefs of Staff identification Badge, and Navy Unit Commendation.

And you, being the little snowflake you are, get triggered because I think you're a POS bone spur following loser for creating a negative meme of someone you don't hold a candle to in an unAmerican, belittling, pathetic way. So no, got nothing positive to say about you in the least.

Only positive toward real Americans.

Benedict Arnold distinguished himself through acts of intelligence and bravery. His actions included the Capture of Fort Ticonderoga in 1775, defensive and delaying tactics at the Battle of Valcour Island on Lake Champlain in 1776 which allowed American forces time to prepare New York's defenses, the Battle of Ridgefield, Connecticut (after which he was promoted to major general), operations in relief of the Siege of Fort Stanwix, and key actions during the pivotal Battles of Saratoga in 1777, in which he suffered leg injuries that halted his combat career for several years.
He was a war hero without who's action and contributions would have most likely led to The American Revolutionary War being lost to the British. And yet, the name Benedict Arnold became the most famous and well known words used to describe a traitorous person or acts, a byword in the United States for treason and betrayal because he led the British army in battle against the very men whom he had once commanded. SO, just because someone has served and been awarded medals, does not mean that he is above reproach and scrutiny for acting in treasonous, and traitorous acts against our Country and our President.

In no way did he act in a treasonous way toward our country. He told the truth under oath. That is all. Just because you and Trump don't like what he said, doesn't make it treasonous. Yes, Trump is the commander in chief and he is obligated to do as told. If you can't see that our country is more important than the orange man, that's a much bigger problem. Supporting this line of thinking can bring down the entire country. We do not have a king. When the king isn't wearing any clothes it is not our job to do everything he says. It's to point out that he's naked.

And at the very bottom of that tedious and unremarkable resume, you can add "fired from the National Security Council". I hope Trump starts pulling security clearances, too. It's about time.

He also actively worked against the Commander in Chief, leaked information, and went around the chain of command. Trump was too nice to him.
