Maybe to "sunshine patriots." As a Veteran who worked for Veterans for 30-years, I always stay still and show respect for the Anthem. I have attended hundreds of events with Veterans and they did the same. The Commander in Chief, should not be "screwing around." If he, and you guys who apologize for him don't get that, OK. I did not expect anything resembling the respect for my country that was taught in my Republican household when I was growing up. That Republican Party no longer exists, it seems.

Show me one example of a Democratic candidate showing disrespect for the flag or the anthem. Football payers, yes. But, Democratic leaders respect both the Flag and the Constitution it stands for.

The difference is that I openly criticized Kaepernick here and elsewhere. I still think he is doing the wrong thing and just contributes to the polarization of people who should be working together to solve the problems he points out. The Republican owner of Nike gave him millions of dollars and his tacit approval. Anything to make a buck.
