Knowing which state the football team belongs to is football.

Huge parts of the Louisville, Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Memphis metropolitan areas are in other states.

The major part of Kansas City is in Missouri. Kansas City, Kansas is more like its suburb.

Grade school geography at that.

They generally do, yes. However, this particular president has a tendency to just tweet out whatever and assume that what he thinks is true. There’s no one checking his tweets for accuracy before they go out. A whole bunch of people in Missouri (a pretty red-leaning state, but not 100% reliable) now have an opportunity to hold a grudge against him for something that was super avoidable.

And if you think a vote doesn’t ever come down to stupid stuff like this, you’re really overestimating the American public.
