Make friends with the dude. If you hang out with him, and he hangs out with her, you are pretty much hanging out with her. Then, if they break up, talk to her and ask her if she is ok. Be supportive, and if she just wants to be friends, then hey, you have a new friend.

First, try using that personality to your advantage, and try to find more about her, if she is nice to you, then try getting close to her, but as a friend. At first, act as if she was your normal everyday friend. Then, try dropping hints. But also, make friends with the guy. That way, some problems won't happen

In fact, it'll put you in the place you most want to avoid. The Friend Zone. Here's my suggestion: 1 Make friends but don't hang out with her all the time, use your absence to your advantage. 2 take an honest look at yourself and the other guy. Now, if this guy is a jock or athletic in any way and you are not, that's a major problem. If you want great, and you think your crush is great, then be great. This could mean working out, doing sports, or spending a little less time on your PS4 or XBOX. Whatever you choose to do, ask yourself beforehand what you're actually willing to do in order to get it. Count the cost, then do it! You shall! You will! You must!!
