I didn’t care about this Cherokee thing honestly. I’m from a poor white southern background, and I heard similar unverified stories about having a “drop of Cherokee blood” from my grandma growing up
Warren being from Oklahoma where there are lots of Native Americans, it makes sense she would have heard the same growing up, though she should have dug deeper before checking boxes
But when Warren basically called Bernie Sanders a sexist on national television I was pretty much done with her. She has to own that shit
Bernie’s my preferred candidate now at least as far as the hard-left folks
