But that's the point. Abortion is unlawful yet murder is. They contradict themselves.
Seriously, think about this (putting aside what we believe). The premise of one law is that nobody has the right to take an innocent life (innocent being the key), yet abortion is the act of ending an innocent life. Since a baby has not consciously committed any act, so they can only be defined as innocent. So how to get around this hiccup? Easy, convince a majority of the population that the life in question isn't a life. That has always been the lynch pin if Roe v Wade. Abortions would be allowed as long as it did not endanger prenatal life. So how to get past the first few weeks? Keep moving the goalposts on what constitutes life. That's why the above statement by KILLING_TIME is so disingenuous. Because if tomorrow, the masses admitted it is a life, the debate would be over because then under Roe vs Wade, they would have no right to an abortion unless it endangered the mother's life. Abortion has literally been made more prevalent by continually pushing the argument that it isn't life further and further.
Now, while I know you don't agree with me, I am sure you can see that pro-choice depends on it not being labeled a life.
