Timing is everything. This lady who voted “present” on the Impeachment articles against Trump has now gone and filed a $50 million lawsuit against the popular vote winner of the last election during a critical week for impeachment.

She’s taken a strong and, in some ways, welcome stance against “regime change wars,” but she is still a hothead with a massive persecution complex, and I really don’t trust her political judgment overall.

or the current farce of kabuki theater impacting one of the most important presidential primaries in our generation?
where both sanders and warren are forced (because attendance is mandatory) to put their campaigns on hold right before iowa and new Hampshire?

these item are of little concern?
because I think those have a far greater impact than this lawsuit,and reveals that the DNC and the DCCC are either:
retarded and politically inept.
or.
this is a planned and concerted strategy to marginalize the anti-establishment candidates,

but we are supposed to wring our hands and clutch our pearls over the future of the party over a defamation suit by a candidate who has been marginalized by her own party,against a woman who is not a candidate,and doesn't even hold an office?

if we reduce your criticism down to it's base elements:
1.this law suit detracts from impeachment.
with zero evidence to even tangentially back up that argument.

I would counter that it is a political tactic by the tulsi campaign to take advantage of Clintons low favorability ratings to boost her in the polls.i know that's what I would do if I was advising tulsi.

This lawsuit is a hail-mary pass by a flailing candidate who is nowhere in the polls. Perhaps a bid at a later run as an Independent candidate that many have already speculated about.

Admittedly, HRC’s comment accusing Gabbard of being a Russian stooge or whatever was baseless and dumb. Whatever her other flaws, Gabbard served our country in uniform, and she is not that. The lawsuit itself may even have grounds (although think about it: this would set a troubling precedent for free political speech, as such comments and worse are made about politicians on every side of the aisle on a daily basis). But again: timing.

I’ve read the Impeachment articles and a good chunk of the lengthy House Impeachment Report, as well as the dissenting views, and I do not find them to be baseless in any way, shape, or form. Whatever you think about the relatively complex Ukraine business, the case for Article II — Obstruction of Congress is plain as day. These are the most massive and sweeping claims of executive privilege in U.S. history.

Any thinking American who opposes the notion of an imperial presidency should be on Team Impeachment right now.

as much as i like bernie, i am critical that he didn't have the balls to call out the dnc for rigging the election in hillary's favor. tulsi actually calls the scumminess out, which is pretty unconventional for democrats, especially since the republicans are notorious for their aggression in a cheap way to get votes, which is probably why many democrats are intimidated by her. in this case, i don't her "hotheadedness" is just, however, since she's a frequent target of the democratic establishment.
