When hamburgers are listed as sandwiches on restaurant menus -and I have seen them listed this way- then hotdogs can be classified as sandwiches, too. Now the prejudice may lie in the traditional arranging hotdogs vertically as opposed to horizontally arranged sandwiches. But it's all meat between bread, right?
