You're probably tired of explaining it, because it's unexplainable.
You're also (probably?) unaware of a couple things.
Open source intelligence shows that the Ukrainian govt, in April 2019, wanted to RE-open the investigation into Burisma (using their anti-corruption agency, NABU) which was well before Trump's phone call with Zelensky. (a fact the Obama staffer / whistle blower conveniently failed to mention)
I say RE-open the investigation, because Quid Pro Joe had it shut down by way of extortion. As you know, Joe threatened to withhold $1B in US aid unless the prosecutor who was going to investigate Burisma was fired. This fact is not in dispute, not even by anyone named Biden. We've all seen the video in which Joe brags about this.
Firing the prosecutor meant no investigation of the funds Burisma funneled to Hunter's consulting firm.
An arrangement resulting from Hunter sitting on Burisma's board, which no sane person could believe was the result of anything other than Hunter's last name being Biden, since Hunter has no qualifications, nor experience in the energy industry.
All this, in combination with the fact that the US president has an obligation, by treaty, to make sure foreign aid doesn't go to corrupt foreign govts, and to investigate any corruption, more than justifies what Trump said in that call.
Treaty with Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters, ratified by the U.S. Senate on Oct. 18, 2000.

Besides, if you're really being honest with yourself, do you think Trump has any fear of Joe Biden as his opponent in the election? Biden can barely string words into sentences, nor sentences into coherent thoughts. If Trump cared about his future opponent, Biden would be the one person he would want to go against. So he wouldn't try to smear Biden by "extorting" the president of the Ukraine to do something they were already doing. I know your side thinks Trump is stupid, but come on, nobody, not even Schiff, Nadler, or Pelosi, is that stupid.
I don't know where you stand with Politifact, but here's an interesting read about this issue (which I suspect you have already seen): https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2019/oct/03/who-devon-archer-ukrainian-gas-executive-playing-g/
