When I said “any possible administration,” I meant of any of the candidates currently running for U.S. President.
If this meme is a side-swipe at those progressive Democrats commonly considered “Leftists” — and most memes here in the “politics” stream are criticisms of Democrats, this one is just subtle and indeed understated enough that I upvoted it anyway — then it is not entirely apt.
Government in the wrong hands can, indeed, take everything you have. Which is why it is so critical to get politics correct, as the late great Charles Krauthammer put it

However: All the comparisons in the world of Democrats to Nazis, Stalinists, Maoists, etc. do not prove that the Democratic Party actually stands for that degree of consolidation of power. And: even more to the point, would not be capable of bringing about things like gulags and mass starvation even if it wanted to.
Why is that?
Because we have — and you’re going to love this — a Constitution!
And two hundred-plus years of constitutional history backing it up!
Reverence of the Constitution has basically reached the status of a civic religion here in America — as you and others like you demonstrate every single day.
(And I mean “Civic Religion” as in the acceptance of beliefs without proof or however you defined it the other day)
And Democrats subscribe to this religion, like and revere the Constitution, too: even if we disagree with over some of the debatable aspects that our Supreme Court is still figuring out centuries later.
