Pennsylvania Constitution

Article I, Section 21 of the Pennsylvania State Constitution states: "The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned."

There, that should clear up somethings so you morons can understand what the 2A means.

Talkin bout THE United States of America, you clueless dolt, not the otherwise nothing State where currently useless Phili is located.

'Sides, I done did excise the first part & PURPOSE of the Second Amendment to the Consitution of the United States to facilitate the idiocy of all y'all small peckered gun humpers, so try not to melt in one place, snowflake.

Enjoy.

PA is the Birthplace of the USA! So, to better understand the 2A, maybe we can add clarity by looking at the PA state constitution where it is a bit clearer.

See, you have an agenda and do not really want to understand the plain meaning of the 2A. Therefore, there is no reason to continue with the domestic enemy.

Guy, you don't know crapshit what you're talkin about, so you sure don't speak for me.

Enemy? Go hide under your bed with your adorable big black d**do you had aimed at your stupidified fat head in that meme and try not to soil your diapers too much.

Look I tried to get you to understand the original intent of the writers of the US Constitution, and you rejected it. YOu rejected it, because it is not your purpose to understand the meaning, so, there is no more reason to discuss this with you. You are clearly unamerican and against the Bill of Rights, therefore a domestic enemy of the USA.

hmmmmm, let me break this down so that a even stupid Commie Russbot like yourself can understand:

1. Pennsylvania is one of 50 states in the USA.
2. PA is NOT the USA
3. PA's Consitution is PA's Consitution.
4. PA's Consitution is NOT the USA's Consitution.
5. The Consitution of the USA is the Consitution of the USA.
6. The Consitution of the USA is NOT the Consitution of PA.

{{Do you see where this is going? Of course you don't}}

7. I had just posted a copy of what the Second Amendment to the Consitution of the USA actually says. Learn to read and read it.
8. When you've done that, note that is NOT what the whatever of PA's irrlevent Consitution says.
9. America is the laughing stock of the World because of your ilk.
10. Inbreeding works.
Please don't breed.

We done yet? Cuz this bores me a lot and you were going to shoot yourself and I would hate to interupt what would be your greatest contribution to society at large.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOO EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.

I'm not talking about PA, I am talking about the 13 colonies moron. WE Decided what the 2A meant and you can tell simply by reading the original 13 colonies constitutions. It's called HISTORICAL GRAMMATICAL METHOD! All 13 colonies agreed that the right for free men to bare arms was an unalienable right! WE THE PEOPLE are the Militia dumbass!
0 ups, 5y
PA IS Pennsylvania, you illiterate buffoon.

HISTORICAL GRAMMATICAL wha?

Fella, your lack of reading comprehension is only rivaled by your bad grammar, you have no clue what you're talking about, and you totally avoided my simple question which of course you are utterly incapable of answering due to the wonders of inbreeding.

Answer the question so we can wrap this up, you're wasting my time a lot.

Ok Moron!

I am sorry that you fail to see the connection with the original 13 colonies, before they entered in to a union with each other which then became the United States of America. Every colony had their right to bare arms dumbass. Thus the meaning of the 2A becomes more clearer when you see the 13 colonies individual constitutions. But again, you have an agenda. And I have my 2A rights!

Let me break this down so that even a simpleton like your can['t?] understand:

The

constitution

of

PA

is

NOT

the

Constitution

of

the

USA

But you know what? I'm gonna play along:

Translate the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

That means this stated purpose:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,"

and how it is enforced by this:

"the right of the people to keep and bear Arms,"

and this:

"shall not be infringed."

And let me know when you're going to excercise your 2nd Amendment Right to get drafted into war.

You colosal idiot.

Fun fact: the term “well regulated” meant “well supplied” back in the late 1700’s when the Second Amendment was written.

The Supreme Court has not stricken down and has in some cases explicitly permitted bans directed against specific types of firearms

That very same ruling implies that any weapon that is a part of "normal military equipment" IS constitutionally protected. "assault weapons"(lol) are a part of normal military equipment.

And yet: The Supreme Court has never said that assault weapons bans are unconstitutional. The fact that they haven’t struck any such bans down yet is evidence that they aren’t eager to make that finding.

In law land, we call that portion of the opinion you are referring to “dicta.” A part of the opinion that was not necessary to the holding and is therefore of lesser persuasive value

None of those bans have actually appeared before the supreme court, so how could they rule on it? Of course, you know this.
0 ups, 5y
The Supreme Court has a lot of control over what cases they take. Only four justices need to vote to agree to hear a case in order to issue a writ of certiorari.

So who is a gun owner and part of a militia in the US? Hands up.

10 U.S. Code § 246.Militia: composition and classes

(a)The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b)The classes of the militia are—
(1)the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2)the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.

All of the men, at least. I'm sure this will be changed to include females before long.
