There is no one cause

I'm not anti-gun, I'm just taking a shot at those who don't know the difference between corrleation and causation. Obviously, guns are necessary for gun violence -- necessary but not sufficient. You're right, more than one cause.

Guns are a 100% necessary ingredient for gun violence. Yellow #5 is not a 100% necessary ingredient for Twinkies. Therefore.. someone needs to invent Twinkie guns.

Anyone know if they sell Twinkies in Norway or Austria? (Yellow #5 is banned there).. kinda doubt they'd bother making ones without it specifically for 2 countries but eh..

No. The gun does not cause the violence, and taking the gun out does not end the violence.

A violent society will find a way to be violent. So far, it's been guns primarily, but also stabbings. How long do you want to wait to address the underlying problems? Do think they'll just go away?
