Antithesis, This is true, yet I find that this is the racist's way of perpetuating racism, which is so terribly wrong. There is no "More Wrong" version of racism. Wrong is wrong. Period.

A person doing something they shouldn't do is wrong. A government doing something they shouldn't do is an injustice. And I don't think you understand that.

Oh, I understand that completely. However, regardless of the situation, there is no such a thing as "More Wrong." Racism is wrong. Reverse discrimination is wrong. Affirmative action is wrong. The pendulum swings both ways, my friend. Perhaps it is you who do not understand.

Do you know what I love about the phrase "reverse discrimination"? It simultaneously acknowledges that there's a systemic power differential that most people have identified as a major problem and dismisses it at the same time. You're trying to have your cake and eat it too.

I'm not your friend. And when an individual action compounds with a systemic injustice, then yes, the individual action it is worse. You have the capacity to understand that and you're choosing not to do so.

Your assessment of reverse discrimination is askew. No one dismisses reverse discrimination. If nothing else, more attention is drawn to it as it is yet another in a long list of things wrong in society. Not a "have your cake and eating it too" scenario, but a warning that the cake is prune-based and likely to give you the shits, which you obviously do not heed the warning. Why am I not your friend? Can we not simply agree to disagree? Must we hate each other because our perception on this matter is different? I am a white male married to a black female. I have raised my four children to not be racist in any manner whatsoever, yet they see racism every day from both whites and blacks. I am firmly embedded in what this country has done and what people continue to do. The perpetuation of racism is our biggest downfall. Please, my friend, do not perpetuate racism by having such close-minded views. Wake up.

No! I will not agree to disagree. Your entire premise is purposed to replace the only solutions our society has to economic injustice with doing nothing. That is not ok. That is not a matter of opinion. That is your goal. And doing nothing is not acceptable.

Your claim is that all racism is equally wrong. My claim is it's all bad, but racism directed against certain groups is worse.
