As a conservative, a veteran, and a responsible adult, I do not approve of a war with Iran. However, should an operative of a foreign country, proven to be an enemy of the United States, be allowed to instigate and initiate activities that cost American lives without consequence?
As an aside, we have had troops in this area since 1990. Neither Republican and Democrats have pulled the troops for 30 years.

EVERY time in the past 40 years or so when a Republican President's poll numbers are down before a reelection, a manufactured war begins.

Just what war are you referring to? There is no war. We killed a bad guy who is responsible for killing hundreds of Americans and who was also planning to kill more, and who subsequently works for a State sponsorer of Terrorism.

Then he had one of their top generals murdered.

How does this end any way other than a war?

No war. No treaty. Get your facts straight. Maybe you're young, but this has been going on with Iran since 1979. The man killed has been actively engaging in war crimes that have killed thousands of Americans since 2011. The US has avoided war with Iran for a long time. As it is, they've been fighting us through their proxies, so this war you speak of... they're already fighting it. We just hit back, a controlled strike on a terrorist, labeled so by Obama himself.

You realize that Iran has almost taken over Iraq since the Nuclear Deal? Obama's little cash refund sponsored the whole thing. Now it's just a huge mess that needs cleaning up.

Let's not be TOO quick to say we are at war already. This wouldn't be the first time a war was about to break out, but that it didn't happen as the parties involved came to their senses on time. It is true however that we are closer to war than ever, so those denying we are facing war is also a fool. Please note that Iran does label this kill as an act of war by the US against Iran... And to be the devil's advocate, I must say they got a point.
