My thoughts (and many others, no doubt) exactly.

Along with all the other crap we heard during the run up to this impeachment farce, we heard that it had to be done quickly, because Trump was such a threat.

The DIMocrats even wrote their second impeachment article for obstruction of congress, even though that is in the process of being adjudicated. They were in such a hurry to impeach Trump, that they couldn't even wait for that to be adjudicated.

Now, as usual, Pelosi is playing games. Sure, I suppose she has that right, but these idiots in the Dimocrat party really, as in really, have no clue how pathetic they look right now.

If it wasn't so much fun to watch them being idiots, I might feel sorry for them.

Oh, this is going to be very interesting... Also some have spoken about ADDING articles, ADDING witnesses, 'wondering' (read=coercing) if R Senators would 'change minds', etc... It sure seems like they're looking to build a total Fuster-Cluck, to ride through 2020... ** It's the most extensive Election interference, since what the same people did in 2016

But don't you think that the longer they wait, the less effective their 'sales pitch' for impeachment becomes? The longer they wait, the less credible they become?

First, Pelosi said they would only impeach if there was public support and strong bipartisan backing, neither of which have materialized.

Then, they said they had to rush the impeachment through (without letting Republicans call a single witness, or have enough time to mount a defense) because Trump was such an imminent threat to our great country.

At some point, even they have to realize they're just talking out of their a$$.

There are many theories about the delay. Some are wondering if they could even 'hold onto' Articles until AFTER 2020 Election... But the easiest answer is that Pelosi KNOWS the Impeachment Articles are very weak and would fail, so her first step is to malign and discredit the Senate, claiming it's corrupt and working to cover-up for Trump.... At which point she could indefinitely 'shelf' Impeachment...
** Probably more importantly, the Corruptocrats and 'Media' (and DeepState/CreepState) will most likely contrive ANOTHER scam during any delay -- which will cause the Public to 'forget' about the initial two Impeachment Articles... The new scam could then possibly be used to formulate MORE Articles -- and thus also effectively justifying the current delay.

I agree that their true motives are unclear. But to step into the mind of a Dimocrat and try to figure out their endgame is something I'm not going to spend too much time on.

It's probably something so whacky, that it can't be thought of by a rational and intelligent person... or by me.

Before the end of Trump'x next turn, there will be two more elections. I suppose they're going to put the articles of impeachment on ice, hoping upon hope that they can win back the senate. While possible, that's about as dimwitted of an approach as the Dimocrats have taken in quite some time.

The Constitution does say that "...no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present." So, maybe their plan is to hold a midnight session with mostly Dims (and a few Rinos) making a quorum, and convict him that way?

If I'm on Trump's legal team, I start investigating any legal recourse to force Pelosi to move the articles over to the Senate before the election, including filing suit. As we've seen with the bogus legal tactics employed by the left, lawsuits don't need much merit if you can find a judge that agrees with you. Once it's in the courts, it should go all the way to the Supreme Court, since there's likely no precedent. By then, maybe Ruth 'Darth' Bader Ginsburg will have retired (I wish death on no one...) and it'll be a slam dunk. While the constitution does not specify a time limit between the House impeaching a president and the Senate trying a president, it seems to my non-legal mind that if even a common criminal is entitles to a swift trial, a president should have that same right.

The bottom line is they're doing EXACTLY what they said they wouldn't, and should never do with an impeachment, which is politicizing the hell out of it. As per usual, they can't even follow their own rules when it suits them to do otherwise. Pathetic.

**** Always keep the following crucial (and heavily exploited) concept in mind: the General Public has a memory span of about 3 weeks -- in other words, unless there are external 'reminders', people quickly forget what happened in recent history. (Try a test: list each 'big thing' during each 3 week period, starting from the present, going backwards in time, for the last couple years) ****

The TIMING of the passing of those 2 ('place-holder') Articles of Impeachment was carefully thought out (this is why we have the whole hurry-up-and-wait situation). There was a rush to get them out before Xmas break -- BUT it could not be earlier, in order to prevent the Senate from getting them and dismissing them before Xmas break.... SO, you see, this allows the Articles to 'stand' for several weeks as 'place-holders', while further strategy is formulated, OR another event 'occurs'...
In any case, after a few weeks go by, the Public's memory can be 'fuzzed', and their emotions deadened.... Pelosi might 'pull-back' the Articles, citing a need to 'add more' or 'investigate more', given 'new revelations'....

Illustrative of the low-IQ Democrat followers. So many were celebrating Trump not being their President. SAD that people who know nothing about anything are given the right to vote but that is our system. Liberals, do some research and don't just follow the criminal Democrats blindly over the edge of reason.

Moreover, it's the Corruptocrats and their 'Media' who PURPOSELY want their 'followers' to believe those things... The best, and easiest way to control a population is by having them not know what is going on.

I thought the liberals were so supposed to be so educated? When I was in high school, US Government was a required class. Guess they all got GED's.
