How will the Senate manage to call actual witnesses like Joe and Hunter Biden, or the Ukrainian prosecutor (who's already stated publicly that he was fired for investigating Hunter Biden)?

Nancy is terrified of what will happen in the Senate, because when the truth comes out Dems will lose their ass next November.

If they withhold the articles, it will become known that the Democrats wasted $250 million taxpayer dollars on lies to politically assassinate Trump.

They're damned if they do, and damned if they don't.

If the don't they get Trump. If they do, they get Pence, followed by 4 more years of Trump. They literally voted for Trump-Pence.

They get Trump either way, because the senate trial will be an acquittal....like it never happened.

Try reading the article. It says Impeachment doesn’t happen just because the House has a vote.

But impeachment *has* happened because the House has taken a vote to approve the Articles

We’re already in the impeachment process. The “impeachment trial” comes later

But think whatever you want, this is a totally academic debate

“there are obvious problems with not transmitting the articles. Trump would be deprived of a chance to defend himself in a formal trial. Future Houses could potentially impeach a president solely for the purpose of labeling them “impeached” and then just leave it at that. It would be like someone being indicted but never being allowed a trial to clear their name.”

Looks like that’s exactly what House Dems want - an “impeached” label without any chance of reputable because it could expose more corruption in their party.
