Why doesn’t the meme we create after clicking Add Meme, then View All Meme Templates, get added to the comment?

I can't duplicate the issue you are describing. It shouldn't matter what browser you're using but it could be that. I'm using Chrome on an Android device.

My image here has the steps I went through to make my meme comment with multiple images. I could have included a meme template anywhere in that process.

You should be able to make a meme comment with single or multiple images, by uploading any image, by using a popular or user template or using any combination of those.

Can you upload a screenshot of where you are having an issue?

Not talking about multiple images. Talking about adding a meme that you clicked “View All Meme Templates” to find.

3. Type something in the search box
4. Scroll down and click View All Memes
5. Select a meme from the results
6. Add your text to the template
7. Click Generate

You created a meme but it’s not attached to the reply you started with.

Now I get it, the "View All Meme Templates" button takes you to imgflip.com/memesearch which is outside the Meme Generator. Clicking that button breaks the connection to where you are trying to make a meme comment. For now, you need to know the name of the template you want to use and then enter that in the top box that says "Search all memes".

So there was this stream raid. A person with the co-owner status removed the other co-owner and took control of the stream because of personal reasons.
Maybe, we could add a thing where the person who is being removed from co-owner would be alerted and given confirmation if they really want to get demoted or not.

I guess a private message and custom profile pics would be good. Oh and longer taglines! Maybe points would have a use.

Custom profile pics like this? There would probably need to be a fairly small file size limit.

The icons are .svg files, which are very small file size and make page loads faster than if there was a custom image going there. If a custom profile image was only shown on your user profile page, that would probably work better than replacing the icon, which is displayed everywhere your username is.

Yes, no icons displayed there nor on the img-panel where views and upvotes are.

The ome thing I've really always wanted was a way to separate answered replies from the rest, or a way of marking them or a search by memer name feature, something so that I won't have to spend a mess of time getting motion sickness scrolling through notifications and never getting to it because 3 weeks ago is a lot more than I thought it was and I'm all out of Dramamine.

Plus it's the beefier worthier ones that get lost in the to-get-to pile, as quicker troll ones are easier to take care of but then pile up quicker too.....

I suggested while back having a filter that would sort notifications by whether you've voted or replied. A simpler way might be an automatic indicator like my image here.

The thing of it is the ones I haven't gotten to were the longer ones that merited a little extra elbow grease on my part, so they had to wait till I had more time, as I'm often posting between other things I'm busy with. Wacky tablet problems also - sometimes it just pops me to another page or even app. and my wall of text disappears before getting posted and off to take care of other business goes me.

I've scrolled through tons, thought I found what I was looking for only to find out it was one I had replied to, and have to start from the top again, so it can be rather frustrating.

I noticed this afternoon, thought it was my tablet going wonky as it always does because one dv took up a major section of the notifications, but then it didn't happen that way later.

Don't want to sound ungracious, but is there a filter to go along in the works to separate those not replied to? I sometimes get a bit of motion sickness scrolling through, so this can at least shorten the search some.

Anyways, I thank y'all, this is the one feature I've always hoped for.

Oh yeah, that too, since there's specific users I remember who I owe replies too, even told them I did and would, but they just get more and more buried.

Plus sometimes the meme with the comment was deleted, so an extensive search might be in vain. There are some I've looked and looked and looked for and got nothing but dizzy.

I submit memes late at night quite often and they don’t get much exposure when they get featured in the wee hours of the morning.

TBH, there isn't an optimal time to submit memes that works for all situations. If you submit memes every day, or submit memes on a given day, you are in the same sweet spot as every other user.

Removing some of the filters Feb 2019 was intended to simply things. I know a few users who would like to have those old filters back.

Tags are great for finding stuff, but not currently set up to exclude things. It would be nice if you could use operators to do that. I agree if you don't want to see gifs, the old filter was perfect for that.

Yeah, some of those laggy gifs are really annoying.

If you take the time to look closely at every GIF you see, are they actually taking longer to load on average than static images?

GIFs are display using mp4 or webm video format, which actually brings the size down to about the same as the average static image, so in theory they should also load very quickly.

They load just fine, I just hate low-quality gifs like this one:

For some reason many people choose to make them low quality rather than choosing a shorter video segment that is just as good as a longer segment. Haven't figured out a good solution to this yet since allowing more frames can make gifs reaaaaallllly big and long to download.

That's right, long gifs with low fps, which creates a jerky, stop-motion effect. So, if your gif is long, and it’s critical to keep the frame rate high to retain smoothness, you’re screwed. The higher the fps, the less jerkiness in playback. Best advice is to keep the animations as short as possible, or get an Imgflip Pro.
