The earth being the center of the universe was "settled science" at one point... I'm not denying climate change, it was real before humans were. Not denying pollution, just saying they might want to lead with a better argument than global warming.

I agree completely. The whole reason Leftists invented the "man-made-climate change" hoax was to allow them to impose any & all crazy laws promoting their insane Socialist agenda. Then,when faced with the natural outrage from the public, they can simply say: "we must do it, to save the planet!" You know it, I know it, & they know it. Don't buy into liberal madness!
