Again, it is under certain circumstances. You can certainly call it bribery, but the personal gain is the primary reason for the constitutional issues surrounding the quid pro quo.

I like bribery, too. Sounds like a good way to explain it. Or in Trump's crooked world of mob-style business tactics, "greasing palms" is another term we could use...

Yes, the investigation was for personal gain. He didn't ask to investigate Burisma nor even why the prosecutor was fired, but instead specifically asked for the President to cooperate with Giuliani with respect to /his/ investigation on Biden. Nothing of which would benefit the US or Ukraine on it's own and so constitutes as a personal gain.

But oops, it appears there was a quid pro quo, which just makes it worse.
