I'm not sure that is the case. As far as I know, the only witnesses that were requested by the Republicans that Schiff rejected were the whistle blower - to protect his identity, and Hunter Biden. But if you know of anyone specifically that was in the closed door hearings that won't be allowed to testify in the open hearings, I'm willing to listen.
