You are most welcome but I will have to be your sister as I am female, lol.

It is hard to prove the truth to be wrong but libs try to do just that. Gosh, they are irritating! Take your meme above, for example. It is 100% true but the Dems are fighting for a Trump impeachment which is asinine.

Kinda childish to play that game. But I guess blaming others for doing what you know you’re guilty of is the Democrat way.

And Biden bragging about how he threatened the Ukraine President to fire the investigator into his sons & his corrupt shakedowns is 💯% legal foreign policy? 🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣😂
5 ups, 5y
You haven't really seen Biden in his own words state exactly that? I posted the YouTube link here.
3 ups, 5y
When interviewed about why he got fired, the Ukrainian prosecutor made the statement “I was forced out because … I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, where Hunter Biden was a member of the board.”

Look it up. Viktor Shokin is his name, and that's a direct quote.

Hunter Biden took a board seat on Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings In 2014. In 2016, Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid unless they fired their top prosecutor.
Before he was fired, the prosecutor had been conducting an investigation of Burisma, and Hunter Biden was a subject of the investigation.

So, how is what Trump did “very, very wrong” while what Biden did not wrong at all?

No, Hunter Biden was not a subject of investigation, that is simply untrue. There is no known evidence that any of the investigations ever involved Hunter Biden. This has been debunked many times.

The difference is that Joe Biden was carrying out the policy of the US and many other Western governments to fight corruption in the Ukraine. He got that prosecutor / investigator fired because he was turning a blind eye to corruption and not prosecuting enough cases. So the claim that he was fired to stop him from investigating Hunter is nonsense.

Trump was not carrying out the policy of the US government, he was using the power of the US government to seek a sham investigation of a political rival.

No, Trump was not using the power of the US government to seek a sham investigation. That’s what the Democrats did with their Russian collusion and now their Ukraine impeachment trial.
If you think Trump misused his office by putting pressure on Ukraine then you have to also believe that Biden did the same thing when he was Vice President.
You can’t have it both ways.

I can easily have it both ways because Biden used the power of the US government to enact US policy that was beneficial to both the US and their ally Ukraine, by getting a corrupt prosecutor fired in the hopes that a prosecutor would be put in place that was more aggressive in prosecuting corruption. There was no personal benefit to Biden, and this was in concert with the rest of US policy.

Trump used the power of the US government to get a a foreign power to investigate a political rival. This is so clearly wrong, that the only defence Republicans have is to attack process or the whistle-blower etc.

The part about “to get a foreign power to investigate a political rival” is speculative at best and is clearly a Democratic spin by a group who has vowed to impeach Trump even before he took office. The Democrats showed their hand years ago and since their Russian collusion scam didn’t work out for them, they’ve manufactured another scam. If Trump is so guilty, why all the closed door process? Why aren’t Republicans allowed to call witnesses? Why isn’t the president allowed to face his accuser? This farce is so blatantly wrong, it’s pathetic.

Face it, Democrats know they don’t have anyone who will likely beat Trump in the next election so they’re doing everything they can to try to make him look bad. Talk about misusing the power of the US government. Ironically it’s having the opposite effect - making the Democratic Party look bad in the process. Too bad our country has come to this point where political parties focus more on gaining power than leading the country. And yes, Republicans are guilty of it too, they just don’t have the mainstream media imbedded with them like the Democrats do.

What the Democrats aren’t considering is, even if they Impeach Trump, they know that he won’t be removed from office. But when the next Democrat president is elected, he or she will be scrutinized over every deal they make with a foreign government that could be construed as a “personal benefit”. And that president will be impeachable for all the same arguments as our current president.

The closed door process prevents a political circus. Ask Trey Gowdy about this. This was the way it was done for the Benghazi investigation. Furthermore, during the Clinton impeachment there was an independent investigator who also investigated before the process was opened up. Note that Republicans on the committees were welcome to attend the closed door process and ask questions, but many did not. Now that the process is open, I don't think that will make Republicans happy because the public is going to learn what Trump did.

I don't think the danger is that Republicans will scrutinize everything Democrats do in the future, they already do. The danger is normalizing Trump's behavior if left unchecked. Would you want a Democratic president to pressure a foreign government to investigate a political rival in the future? Of course not, it's wrong, it's corrupt, and the impeachment inquiry is justified.

If using one's office for political advantage is wrong, the House Democrats are equally guilty.
