It just skates on the thin ice heels of socialism.
I'm sorry, I'm just not a fan of that. Social programs, yes. Social economics? No.
And any Trump Supporter or Conservative who says they "like Yang" seems like a huge red flag to me.
I'm much more in favor of taxing the wealthy. To me, that is the only solution that our politicians willfully try to avoid.
We've had Presidents past elected on social platforms and being entirely too focused on passing those as if their Presidency depended on them. I'd prefer my Presidents run on governing rather than who can promise me the most outlandish ideas, or the most realistically outlandish ideas.
That said, I think Yang is the only candidate that would make me reconsider voting Democrat. If he won the primary, he'd have to seriously convince me he's capable of the job or I'll end up not voting at all.
