Yang is good. Mayor Pete is good too but doubt he'll get the nomination being a married gay guy.

Don't particularly care for Biden or Warren, mainly because we need someone young. Anyone over 70 needs to retire because they are too far removed from the problems we're facing today.

So, sell me on Yang. Because he sounds inexperienced and his $1000 a month check to everyone sounds ludicrous.

Yeah, the $1,000 a month sounds pretty out there. But, cutting all gov programs and not increasing minimum wage is pretty out there too. We've currently got a false economy anyway. Nobody can live on 7.25hr yet half those are adults. Something like 4 million people.

Face it, both parties have dumb ideas. Cutting and not making a simple change in the minimum is just as stupid as having compassion for those who need help and writing checks to them.

Not a good start referencing our current system to back up Yang's. It seems to me his plan is simply trickle up economics. And forgive me, but that seems to be about as dumb as the alternative. I'll look more into Yang but I'll be honest. That plan alone is enough for me to think he's not a worthy of my attention in comparison to, really, everyone else.

Even dumber, as it eliminates incentive for a substantial part of the population.

Trickle up has been proven to work over and over again. Give people who use all their funds every month, more money and all those funds always get put back into the economy.

All these candidates can spout off pie in the sky ideas. Nearly none of them will ever become law just because a Prez can't make that much change. Using common sense, rules out most of the extremes. No one is creating laws that will bring military door to door, confiscating assault weapons. It isn't happening. Along with a whole bunch of other radical thoughts.

It just skates on the thin ice heels of socialism.

I'm sorry, I'm just not a fan of that. Social programs, yes. Social economics? No.

And any Trump Supporter or Conservative who says they "like Yang" seems like a huge red flag to me.

I'm much more in favor of taxing the wealthy. To me, that is the only solution that our politicians willfully try to avoid.

We've had Presidents past elected on social platforms and being entirely too focused on passing those as if their Presidency depended on them. I'd prefer my Presidents run on governing rather than who can promise me the most outlandish ideas, or the most realistically outlandish ideas.

That said, I think Yang is the only candidate that would make me reconsider voting Democrat. If he won the primary, he'd have to seriously convince me he's capable of the job or I'll end up not voting at all.

Bern isn't getting the nomination. AOC isn't running.

Bern should have had the nomination in 2016. That was the matchup everyone wanted. No matter who would have won.

Yup. Nobody on the left talks about that and I can't understand it. Why Debbie S and Donna B. are not relegated to living in holes somewhere is beyond me. They get air time to continue talking, completely free of shame. It makes no sense.

Tulsi Gabbard seems like a very good person, Loves her country, is a Major in the reserves, very respectable. I dont agree with her 100% on her politics but respect the hell out of her.

They're scheming the same play again, thinking many don't have that broad based appeal to win, so it's thwart city again and the quest for a big gunner. It's almost as if the DNC wants Trump to get reelected.

All of them want less separation between the rich and middle class. Considering where we are right now, we will never have socialism in this country.
