John Belushi - Animal House | WAS IT ERRONEOUS WHEN JOE BIDEN AND JERRY NADLER CALLED THE CLINTON IMPEACHMENT A LYNCHING? | image tagged in john belushi - animal house | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
They project. They deflect. If not for double standards, the Left would have no standards at all. Good one!

It is a lynching. Finally, a President who won't dumb down his vocabulary just because a handful of black people feel uncomfortable.'

It's the white liberal media who are getting angry about this, by the way.

Of course it's white liberals. Blacks don't get offended by this crud.

2 people here (in comments) reference the fact that choosing the word "lynching" makes black people uncomfortable. Out of context you might blow this off as him "erroneously" using a word but looking at other statements he's made.... "Go back to your country, shit hole countries, [Baltimore] is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess, [Mexico] sends us their rapists and murderers, Obama isnt a citizen, Obama is a terrorist, Muslim ban, the judge can't do her job because she's Mexican"... I don't think this was an error. There's a reason he's got the racist vote on lock. IF he himself isn't racist (which as time goes on is becoming a more difficult argument to make) he definitely speaks their language.

Dear people calling this a proper use of the word: is this based on mob action? I always thought lynching implied death.

Without the well known racial tones, it implies a suspension of due process by extrajudicial persecutors - usually, but not necessarily, fatal. But the key part is that it's extrajudicial in nature. That could not be less appropriate to use for impeachment proceedings, clearly defined by the Constitution.

It was a little erroneous. I'm not saying that black people "own" words... that's ridiculous. Especially since anybody of any color can be lynched. I'm saying it might have been bit hyperbolic, even with the coup that's going on. A better word can be used, but still, a word is a lot less of an issue here than men trying to take over women's sports, or a woman trying to destroy a young boy.

Biden used the exact same wording to descry Bill Clinton's impeachment. The word is used to describe an injustice carried out in the name of justice.

Gotcha.

For once, I agree with you. That Trump was being highly melodramatic in entirely poor taste was something that was not an error - it was completely intentional. He honestly thought that the correct reaction in this situation was to bring up a juxtaposition that nobody was going to be comfortable with.

I'm not a fan of Trump but I'm definitely voting for him in 2020. This transgender madness needs to stop now.

You're probably one of many people in your situation. Voting on his re-election for one reason or another.

The shitty attitude of our head of government is more important than a sports result and a family's medical concerns?

Oh my, what HAS the world come to.

"Rachel McKinnon" is a man and a quack of a doctor. He will never be a woman, and he's using a hairstyle and a few pronouns so he can win some race against women and make his mommy proud for once in his life.

A boy who does not even want to call himself a girl, even by these insane people's standards, is being forced to live out his insane mother's abusive fantasies. His dad is trying to fight for custody of his son, so he can't be forced to live as something he isn't or never will be.

Our commander-in-chief is finally blowing up on Twitter after crooked politicians have been after him since day one. Not just disagreeing with him, but descending into madness and And the media focus on that rather than transvestite men stripping victories from women, or child-abusers breaking up families.

THAT'S what our nation has come to.

It's just a bike race. I couldn't even tell you who the men's champion is. It doesn't affect anyone or anything.

The fact that we have a juvenile President on the internet is much more serious. That is having serious global repercussions.

But you only care about the sports result.

It's not just the bike race. Men are posing as women in multiple sports. It affects women because we have our own league in which to compete, because biologically, we cannot compete against men.

An elderly man on the internet, despite his position in the country, can be restrained. Men unjustly competing with women has major repercussions. You are basically saying men are better women than women.

His "attitude" and his behavior on the internet are FAR less important than how well he's performing the job he was duly elected to do.

Meanwhile, that "sports result" is some women's way of earning a living, to which you're saying "who cares?" How misogynistic of you.

And the "medical concerns" are the freedom and bodily autonomy of a child being blatantly ripped away, but "oh no, the orange man said a mean thing that triggered me and caused PTSD!"

His attitude IS the job! He represents us diplomatically on the world stage and now the whole world knows that America will change its mind erratically on a whim based on bad information. How do we win with that?
0 ups, 5y
"His attitude IS the job!"

Really? So if he specifically said "Everyone is America is an asshole" while completely eliminating unemployment, you think that would be worse than sucking up to everyone, calling everyone special and unique and valued while turning America into the next Venezuela?

Just look at Canada. Turdeau ticks all the boxes of the kind of leader you claim to want, and he's turned Canada into a global laughing stock.

I'm sure you'll try to claim Trump has done the same thing to America, except he hasn't. The only ones laughing at Trump are far left SJW types, and it's a very forced laughter.
