I heard repubs blocked a witness hours before he was supposed to testify. Nothing screams innocence like blocking witnesses, stonewalling, and Mulvaney straight up admitting quid pro quo. But oh sure it was "a perfect conversation".... lol That alone should tell you something. Trump simply can't not lie. If he would've actually talked to Mueller as requested, he would be done.

He was not blocked he testified on Thursday. Unlike all of Obama's cronies that coped executive privilege to block testimony on IRSgate and Fast and furious.

When Bush's ATF was gun walking it was limited to less than a handful of guns and they had transmitters so they could be tracked, when Obama and Holder did it they walked thousands of guns and their only plan to track them was to recover them from crime scenes, They found them all right when the Border patrol agent was murdered and when the cartels slaughtered 65 college students down in Mexico.

The question is what was the real motivation? Because all of them - Biden, Trump, Congress - are engaging in dual agendas and parallel purposes. It all goes back to the old CIA term "plausible deniability." These days what is plausible seems to be dependent on one's politics.
