Are you kidding? What caused all the plastic and waste were big companies using the cheapest possible packaging, which just happens to be plastics. Also last 2 generations did not raise themselves, in fact many of them were not really raised at all, because they had helicopter parents who were always at work, since somebody who shall remain unnamed decided both parents should work leaving nobody to actually raise the last 2 generations.
