Hm. Seems like there's an answer for this... oh, yeah, due process is followed and there's an in place system to make sure the children are cared for, including creating a temporary custodial power of a friend.
So, to recap, if a single mother is arrested. She goes through due process of having a trial. Then if the jury of her peers says she did it, she goes through the sentencing period. And is told ahead of time, 'hey, you're going to go to jail. That kid needs to be taken care of." And if she's truly alone in this world, the kid is put into foster care.
A truly rare event.
But that's not what's happening at the border, is it?
There aren't cages stuffed full of children waiting for mommy to get out of jail.
How many children have been lost in this debacle? How many parents have already been deported but the kids are still in come concentration camp somewhere?
The Obama administration didn't force families apart. That's all Trump.
