not realy, he lost the popoular vote, but won the electoral collage. You can win with the electoral collage by only getting 21.3% of people on your side. The system is realy messed up and we should go off of the popluar vote, not electoral collage.

Clinton won the popular vote by less than 1% of the US population. Of those who voted, half voted for Trump. Those people were spread across more states than those who voted for Hillary, hence the win in the electoral college. I'm not going to waste my time debating electoral vs popular vote with you because I seriously doubt you could grasp the concepts involved.

if you want to know how the electoral collage works by giving states with more people more votes, what the magority of the state votes all electoral collage votes go to the one person, so there are situations where your votes is worth 3.6 times more then sombody else, instead of it all being equal. but my point is cinton beat trump because more people voted for her, you said it your self. The reason we have the electoral collage, is because communication was hard, so they counted up how many votes the state got instead of people indvidialy.

Your Obama had similar approval ratings at this time in 2011. Sometimes even lower. Rasmussen Reports also had President Trump at 50%. Before you go on about Rasmussen being conservative leaning and false, it had Obama at higher approval ratings than even many of the mainstream networks and liberal media throughout 2011 and 2012.

not sure what truth you're referring to. Not all foreign conflicts are created equally. Interfering in some of them is more justified than interfering in others.

i was replying to your comment that "the devil is in the details" because that is saying that it is bad to look at the facts. Facts are true and you are making them seen bad.

btw, i just googled the phrase to make sure I wasn't using it incorrectly. It actually means that the details - even seemingly minor details are important.

Hmnn, I think you may have misunderstood how I meant it then. The meme - partially because that is the nature of memes, makes a statement, that I think has some truth in it. But if you look at the details of a particular situation, you can find circumstances it which it makes sense both to criticize foreign conflict, and cases in which you might complain about forces leaving.

For example, Since Bin-Laden was in Afghanistan, it made sense to go there. I think we were not told the truth about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and we were tricked into going there.

When it comes to leaving Syria, we were keeping the peace there at a pretty low price, and leaving in such an abrupt manner is causing a lot of problems.

So, I actually meant, that the point of the meme is right sometimes and wrong others, you have to examine the details, that is the facts before deciding what applies in each case.
