His agreement with Fox prevents him from working for any other network for a period of time. No more shep on the air for a while!

Fox is no different than the rest of the Mockingbird media.
It puts up a good front, but the tide has indeed turned.
Most turned to OANN.
I only follow Tucker & Greg Gutfeld online.
Shep sexually assaulted a sleeping coworker.
The same guy who famously railed against Trump for his comments taken out of context from a TV interview.

Yes, it would suck if they became CNN or MSNBC. But Tucker still has anyone on, regardless of politics.

Yes. Tucker is absolutely a departure from the Fox News conservative echo chamber.

Wait, no, that laughably false.

He has lefty guests he disagrees with all the time, unlike CNN or MSNBC. Try watching it sometime, then you won't look uninformed giving opinions on it.
1 up, 5y,
1 reply
Yes, he does. The important part there, though, is that **he disagrees with them**. He's conservative, just like everyone else on Fox News. And just like every other show on Fox News, his drives a conservative narrative. It's an echo chamber.

And yes. MSNBC is also an echo chamber, and CNN has gone from reputable to sensationalist silliness for the most part.

All of these things are bad.
1 up, 5y
Yes, Tucker, Hannity, Pirro and others are conservatives but they also feature Juan Williams, Marie Harf, Chris Wallace, Jessica Tarlov and others who aren't conservative. Chris Wallace is particularly liberal.

CNN used to have a couple conservatives on a semi regular basis but they have all been driven out. Oh, right, they still have one 'conservative' left, that slob Ana Navarro LOL

Although pretty sad, Fox still is far less of an echo chamber then CNN or MSNBC.

See my reply to SydneyB above re: Tucker.

"He supports the president's move in Syria, by the way, which VERY few in the 'echo chamber' are doing."

Also very few people in Congress. And very few people in the intelligence community. And very few people with experience in foreign relations, diplomacy, or policy.

But hey, why listen to them? Trumpy knows best.

The 'intelligence' community has zero credibility after WMD's and Russian collusion delusion hoax and Assad 'gassing' civilians.

Noticed you didn't attack the credibility of Congress or those with decades of experience in foreign affairs. Any well-informed reasons why Trumpkin should ignore those folks?

That statement tells me you have no idea how important the intelligence community is, or how deeply indebted to them you are.

Not everything is black and white, this or that; very few things are so simple in foreign relations. I would think you would know that by now.

The intelligence community is vital to our national security, and has protected the US from foreign threats faithfully and effectively. If you don't see that, it's because you don't want to.

AKeller is a typical pathetic liberal asswipe,spoon-fed fake news he or she? eagerly gobbles up.
I only deal with fuktards of that level when I come on here to throw a meme idea together .
They wouldn't last an hour in my realm.

And the guy who complains about how hard his life is because the press hates him while standing in front of the CIA's Memorial Wall is the guy to do it? The one who publicly insults the very institutions that keep him safe? Who actively and constantly tries to discredit the people who faithfully supply him every day with the information that informs his most dangerous decisions?

You trust that guy to clean house in the intelligence community?

I think exactly the same of you, evidenced by your general shrug at a grave insult to heroes who have given the ultimate sacrifice for your safety.

We appear to be at an impasse with no chance of resolution. <tips hat, walks away>

If these lefty imageflip meme trolls had a shred of fortitude or political knowledge, they wouldn't be the bottom feeders skulking around meme comments for relevance.
They know they could never hold their own in a genuine neutral ground political discourse engagement.

"Publicly insulting" and "pressing for accountability in" are two very different things.

He stood in front of the Memorial Wall, which at the time contained 117 stars representing members of the intelligence community who had died in service of their country, and complained about fake news.

He is a man with neither regard nor respect for their sacrifice, and as such cannot be trusted to deal with their institutions' shortcomings effectively.

Fool me once, shame on you etc etc. You forget that the NSA has been spying on Americans illegally for years? Altho that's probably tied to Dumbya's Patriot Act.
0 ups, 5y,

Google knows WAY more about you than the US government, and is exponentially more likely to use that information to manipulate you.

The harm done to Americans by Snowden's treason far outstrips the good. The intelligence community is not perfect (no institution is), but it is essential to US national security, and it is populated and directed by people who are loyal Americans and who are committed to the safety and security of the United States. It's literally in their job descriptions.

Wait, you're saying that my assertion that Google is tracking everyone makes me crazy? But saying that the government is recording everyone's phone calls is totally rational?

Aren't you adorable....
1 up, 5y,
1 reply
While Google and others like Facebook do know more than they should, they still haven't recorded all your phonecalls. Isn't it illegal for the NSA to spy on their own citizens, without warrant? But like I said, Bush and the Patriot Act probably started that but Obama's regime took it further, as far as I know.

No intelligence agency should be above the law.

That's adorable that you think that. Trump can't even tame the fbi or cia. At least Strzok got fired tho.
0 ups, 5y
Trump can't tame the people he himself nominated.
1 up, 5y,
1 reply
lol Trump never nominated the FBI or CIA. They usually are in there 30 to 40 years. C'mon, man.
0 ups, 5y
That's my point. If he can't tame his OWN people, what makes you think he can tame experienced members of the intelligence community?

If what you wanted was a president who could reign in a rogue CIA, and you voted for Trump, you made a colossal mistake. Both by voting for him and thinking the intelligence community is in need of taming in the first place.
0 ups, 5y
If JFK couldn't do it, how could Trump?

But yeah, that why I'm not so harsh about him putting Invanka and Kushner in there, altho it's suspect. Because no one gave Trump loyalty, when it was their job. Obama got his minions dug in deep after 8 years. Why wouldn't Trump value loyalty?

It was a promise that'll be hard to keep.
