California spent forestry service money on illegal aliens. The fire problem is of their own making. I lived in California before the inmates took over the asylum, and forest management was an ongoing process. There were crews that cleared fire breaks, and crews that conducted controlled burns.

The time of sanity is over for California. Now it's a brush fire waiting to happen.

I lived there for a decade, and the amount of loss due to fire has gone up exponentially. States that manage their forests correctly have not seen the rate of increase in damage that California has.
