Honestly, if that's the case then why is he stopping people from testifying on his behalf? The White House says they will not allow people who have been subpoenaed to testify? Step away from who we are talking about for just a second. If that was anyone else, what would happen? They would be put in jail.

The Democrats have not allowed a vote by the House to even legally start impeachment hearings as is required. The Democrats are not allowing Republicans on the committee to question the witnesses, they are not allowing Republicans on the committee to call witnesses, they are not releasing witness testimony only leaking cherry-picked sound bites.

The "whistleblower" has a "professional relationship" with a Democrat presidential candidate. ICIG secretly changed the rules on what is creditable for whistleblowers to report, Adam Schiff illegally meets with the "whistleblower" BEFORE he submitted his claim. The "whistleblowers" attorney worked for Schiff and Brennan. Schiff lied about his meeting with the "whistleblower". Schiff lies about what is in the call transcript on the official committee hearing record.

joking aside, Trump is allowed to tell his diplomats not to testify, because this is not an actual (aka. legal) inquiry, which has to be voted on by the House initiated by the House judiciary committee, to start an inquiry. The fact that the House Intelligence committee, which is allowed to have closed meetings not open to media, is handling this "inquiry" does cast doubt on the potential impeachment inquiry. When the House does conduct a House vote to start the inquiry to make it official, then Trump would not be able to disallowed subpoenaed witnesses.
