In order for him to be impeached the way you mean it, he’d have to have been convicted of treason, bribery, or a high crime or misdemeanor. That will be tough to do in this inept congress who cannot even decide what a man or woman is. Not saying it is right or wrong, just that this would be interesting too see play out in the court of law.

To Be convicted in the Senate it would have to be a crime of some sort. He can be voted for impeachment in the house without proving a crime but in the Senate it is like a court case. They have to provide evidence of a crime then prove it with facts. That is not going to happen in this situation this is more of a voter grab for recognition than real attempt at upholding any sort of laws that may or may not have been broken.

No doubt anyone who cares at all about this thread ran to Google and looked up Alcee Lamar Hastings. Alcee Lamar Hastings WAS a federal judge who was tried and impeached, then removed from office. Yet, he is currently employed in the US House of Representatives.

What shit-for-brains doesn't understand is there have been very few times in American history where someone has been impeached AND THEN barred from holding any office. The Senate has to vote to bar someone AFTER they are impeached. It is two totally different processes and is NOT automatic, which is what shit-for-brains believes.
