You have to read the transcript. "The MSM is reporting that he said do us a favor and investigate my political rival." He did not say that. He said, "There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great." If only people could read....

I still waiting for some to quote that law that make his behavior illegal. IF it is... there's a statute. Now I will sit back and listen to "high crimes and misdemeanors" while no one provides a statute.

Here you go: 52 U.S. Code § 30121.Contributions and donations by foreign nationals. 

It's a federal crime to ask or accept help from a foreign government in an election. 

Investigating Biden has nothing to do with the interests of the United States. 

But it sure does benefit Trump to have Biden investigated by another country. 

And there's the Quid Pro Quo (something for something). Trump talked at length about how much the US does for the Ukraine. Then how much the Ukraine DOESN'T DO for the US. Then he said 

"I need you to do me a favor..." 

That's the Quid in Quid Pro Quo. It's right there in the transcript. Rob Blagojevich went to jail for Quid Pro Quo on less evidence than this.

Um... no. If you read the transcript (which I did), there was no coercion, it was entirely friendly, Zelensky was already interested in the matter, and he publicly confirmed there was no coercion.

But, don't let the facts get in the way of your TDS narrative.

Here's the crazy part. that's the summary put out by the White House. They haven't released the actual transcript. 

That summary is damning. Imagine what must be on that transcript if this is the version they released?

When he said I need you to do me a favor and then brought up Joe & Hunter Biden unprompted. He said I need you to reopen the investigation. I need you to cooperate with my lawyer.

Who expressly said that he's going over to the Ukraine to dig up political dirt on Biden. 

It has long been established in the courts of law that political dirt on your opponent is a "thing of value." 

So, there you go. With the law.

YES IT DOES. Here you go: It shall be unlawful for- (1) a foreign national, directly or indirectly, to make- (A) a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value. 

Providing political mud to throw at your political opponent is a thing of value. 

This is exactly the thing about "Russia, if you're listening..." Back then he was a candidate for office who didn't know what the f**k he was doing. So maybe no corrupt intent. 

But he was told. There was a years long investigation about it. 

He knows you can't do that. 

But practically the day after the Mueller testimony he's on the phone saying "I need you to do me a favor..." 

Then they tried to cover it up. They had the actual transcript moved out of a readily accessible data base (where non-secret conversations are stored) and put into one that is only for top secret stuff. If it was a perfectly fine and innocent conversation, why did the White House lawyers order it moved? 

Because they knew what he'd done. They covered it up. That's corrupt intent.

Not when it's a political rival and you don't present any justification. 

Like, if he'd had half a damn brain in his head, he would have spent a month or two talking about governmental corruption. Then specifically about the Ukraine. 

Then held up the money because he thought there was too much corruption in the Ukraine. 

Then say something about how if the FBI could go over there or maybe a special appointment by the justice department? Because I want to get the Ukraine the money we promised but oh the corruption over there! 

Then have his lapdog Barr appoint someone who will do their bidding. 

Then that POS goes over to the Ukraine to investigate and what do you know he finds something out about Hunter. 

Then uses that to pummel Biden. 

But this guy was too stupid to do that. He just said, "hey, I want you to do me a favor..."
