Loved the Thing as a kid, still is an awesome movie.

Great special effects for the time.

'A tale of two sister' (Korean), 'dark water' (Japanese) and the 'slit mouthed woman(also Japanese).

They make my skin crawl every single time.

Yeah, they make the best horror movies ヾ(*’Ｏ’*)/

Misery, the Sixth Sence

As a kid, "IT". I've seen scarier since, but I remember my dad watching it when I was 6 or so and I walked in when the blood was bubbling up in the sink...nightmares after that and afraid to brush my teeth for a while. Looking back, the movie was a little campy at times and the effects were too, but as a 6YO, scary.

You said you were afraid of brushing your teeth after you saw the IT movie. I was trying to make a joke about how rednecks are missing teeth because they were too afraid to brush after watching the IT movie.
You're not slow, I could see why you were confused. It was a really bad joke and poorly executed. I apologise ☺️

First scary thing I remember watching was The Twilight Zone when I was a teenager.

TV show. It was a nice surreal scary.

The movie scared me a bit as a kid. Buddy had has head actually lopped off by a helicopter. I liked the series, new and old.

I always thought Friday the 13th was scary because my mom would never let me watch it, she'd cover my eyes everytime I'd look at the TV when the movie was playing

She wouldn't let you watch it but played it in front of you?

It would play on the TV channel we always watch, except it would play in Friday the 13th's, mom always watched it but never let me do so.

It was a horror about murderous worms.

Nothing says horror like something you can squash with your foot ;)

Jurassic Park

I get it.

Carrie never scared me, but yep on The Exorcist and The Day After (which they showed us in school, when I was like 10 or 11 years old iirc), and I found Creepshow quite scary at the time as well.

The Black Hole from Disney. If you never heard of it, I suggest looking it up. As a kid, it was creepy as hell.

2012, The Princess and the Frog and Eragon. Yeah, I had a pretty sheltered childhood.
