Sounds nicer to me

I went on a low carb plan before. I have never peed so much in my life. I lost 14 pounds in 9 days. Mostly water!

It seems like everyone at work is doing Keto but nobody has had the same results as you. :)

I was in a keto group on Face Book once and there were a variety of strange things people said happened to them. I also got a funny rash sort of spot on my upper abdomen. It went away when I came off the diet, came back again when when I went back on.

My uncle went into A-fib and is now on blood thinners for the rest of his life. I have heard some horror stories but also some really good stories.

I wonder WHY that would happen on the diet! See, that scares me because you just don't know! I heard of one other person mention some heart related episode.

The way it was explained to me was ketoacidosis causes the heart to act different ( due to the acidity) :(

That makes sense! I know some people do extremely low carb, like no carbs or maybe 5-10 carbs a day. That's crazy low. I did not like the way it made me feel. I had to stop it.

I cut out carbs and went low sodium, similar results. But that's a big part of why all these wonder diets can claim you lose all that weight in such a short time, they advertise the results in only a few days and most of the weight lost is water weight. Then after you've gotten all the extra water out the weight loss slows and people get frustrated. Hence why it's so hard to stick with something like that.

I will say to the credit of a low carb diet, if the carbs are low enough it actually suppresses the appetite. Which was a big problem for me. I lost my appetite entirely and had to drink some higher carb types of things to get right again. Not sodas mind you but things like carrot juice or milk. I was sick at the site of food and that was the only way I could get any calories in.

Well that's different! I guess I didnt completely cut out all carbs and still maybe once a week ate some healthy carbs like brown rice or quinoa. I cut out all processed carbs like pasta, white rice, potatoes (ironic I know) etc. And that did a lot for me.

It was odd! Now when I cut carbs I know my range that feels beneficial. Less than 50 is definitely bad. I like to stay in the 100-75 range because at least then I don't get the rotten carb stink breath!

I have it set to LATEST, so maybe I'm just following too many people. lol

But the memes should show up see. I thought I was just overlooking some. Because when I go to a user's page I have seen memes that didn't show in the users stream. So I think they just aren't putting them all in or something.

Yes, I have noticed the same. The one thing that I like about that feature is I can find the people a lot easier:-)
