Because if road construction workers work on it, itll take 5 years for that to be fixed. (My neighborhood road needed a simple repaving and its taking 2 years so far, give me the equipment, 8 hours a day and half of minimum wage and id get it done myself in a month or 2)

But you would think common sense would dictate that taxes go for things like fixing pot holes. It is irritating that this exact problem seems wide spread. If we did not pay taxes I would certainly not expect anything to be repaired.
