That's because you don't seem to know the difference between socialism and NATIONAL SOCIALISM. Hiltler hated the former with passion, and would kill you if he heard you make the implication you just made.

The things socialism and national socialism (or "nazi" for short) lies that they both come forth from the ideal that the worker should be on the first place, and that the interest of the worker are most important (sounds a bit like the "American Dream", doesn't it? "Work hard and have a good life". Naziism even put more emphasis on this).

Where the differences come in play is the philosophy behind it. Where the philosophy of socialism, or communism, as per ideas from Karl Marx, lies in equality, nobody is superior to anybody else, National Socialism refutes the entire idea of equality, and sets groups of people higher in the ladder of respect than others, placing the Aryans on the spot as the superiors, and the Jews on the spot of people that didn't deserve to called "human", and thus the Holocaust... Well that is the simple version, as it's of course more complicated than that, but in a simple version, that's what it comes down to.

A true socialist would also help disabled, ill, impaired, old people to give them the care they need, and help them to make something out of their lives, if this help is required. A NATIONAL SOCIALIST would see them as parasites of society and seek to "eliminate" (read: kill) them.

If you take both socialism and national socialism into a deeper look and take a look at their cores, you suddenly discover how little the two phenomenons have in common. Making that mocking spongebob make sense as he's mocking YOUR stupidity and ignorance. Good to know you got some self-reflection :P

Nazism was national socialism and therefore a type of socialism. Socialism is just a form of communism. Therefore nazis were really communist. Democrats are socialists and they also support antifa. Antifa uses fascist tactics vis-à-vis antifa are fascist. Ergo democrats are nazi fascist communists.

If Nazi's were socialists and Democrats are pushing for socialism, wouldn't that make Democrats a bit like....

I hope that you actually understand the quote discussed here, especially since you deem somebody a troll for that... Obviously you don't. The quote also indicates Warren doesn't want to get rid of the insurance system itself, but rather of their business model, since the interest of the patient should be more important than the interest of the shareholder. Warren's quote clearly implies it's now the other way around, and that was never the way this was intended, and "Medicare" is supposed to go for the perspective in which the patient gets the care they need... Nothing nuts about that, as she has a point.
Oh, and it's not that I think the Democrats take her for "nuts"... They may not be in full agreement with her, that's something else.

Let's say, you lost the discussion from the moment you declared Manhattan a troll, as it was in this particular case the moment you got out of argumentation I guess. I'm not saying you should agree with Warren's point. In a democracy disagreements is the entire point of its existence. Putting things in the correct context and not declaring people you disagree with "nuts" is also the point of democracy and FREEDOM!

Warren seems to want to do away with a lot of private businesses and turn over their practices to the government. Isn't that at the very least socialism and at the very worst Fascism?

For the most part, I call people what they are. If they are a democrat I call them a democrat. Now if they support far left ideas I may call them a leftite or a commie.
There is a difference between liberals and leftists, PragerU points this out in one of their videos. And it's not fair to good liberals to make blanket assumptions that all liberals are leftists. But when liberals defend those on the far left and antifa, well, it kinda undermines what I say about there being a difference.

Socialism is the beginning steps towards communism so in that sense a socialist is basically a watered down communist.

You call Trump a liar and it must be true. I call Hillary a liar and it isn't true. And then you accuse me of calling people what I think they are. I am more fair in my judgments than a lot of other people is.
