I have been told similar things by different people and I am curious if such statements are justified and disagreeing is wrong?
So is it okay for parents to tell their children similar statements? What about bosses? I guess I felt they would be justified. But I would like to hear your opinions.

and no for an employer. employees make a company (the owner) money, you want good ones, you want them happy. If heard one of my mangers back in the day say that to someone, the manager would be leaving.
