Women’s sports need to draw the same crowds? Why is it less people watch women play a competitive sport?

Ehhh. Not as much action I guess? Women dont even really watch women's sports. Theres only like 2 WNBA players who can dunk. I personally like womens college softball, their fkn good. But in the end,....nobody cares or is watching. Soccer sux anyway

I just watch women’s college softball because some of those girls are pretty hot. On the other hand, some look like they could play linebacker at a D2 school.

WNBA is ass you can tell how bad they are.
Womens soccer is good, they are basically as good to watch as the mens.
Plus, US Womens team is much better in the League than the men.

Well, as a woman myself I'll be honest and say that while most sports in general bores me, if I had to watch a game I'd much prefer seeing virile men sweating in leg-revealing uniforms than virile women sweating in leg-revealing uniforms.

"Should be" and "want to" are two different things. I am not comfortable with any social expectation that people "should" watch or "should" take an interest in any sport.

Because the competition isn't as high a level as the men's sports. Men just naturally compete at a higher level and there's nothing wrong with that. It's called biology.

Something many people don't get. I typically enjoy *****some***** women's sports b/c I understand the "intensity" as a female former athlete.

Pfft. Who am I kidding. It's even more so b/c the seats are empty and I can get a good spot for cheap/free.

That isnt even true. They would be beat by bad men's team but not a high school V team or something like that. They should be paid an equal amount of the revenue they bring in, but the womens soccer team is very good. Honestly they win more than the men (I know its in diff Leagues.)

Uh, Parris Island, SC is where the US Marine Corps turns boys into recruits, and then recruits into Marines. It happens to be a much more honorable title in my estimation than being labeled a "ball kicker".

Sports is something I did as a child, after I grew up, I did away with childish things and became a man. Sports are for kids.

Are you familiar with how the NFL subsidizes each other? Some of those teams just don't make the revenue off their own individual brand to compete well enough to make the season interesting.

So - and this is a true story - there is a fund that the league distributes across to the other teams so they can throw down salary offers to make the game at least interesting for spectators to follow.

In other words, what you are suggesting is already a thing in men's sports.

That being said, imagine women trying to compete against men in professional football. Or even if women had their own league. The women DO NOT bring in the revenue as men do in their sports because there isn't a huge interest in most women's sports, not at the level of men's sports. You CANNOT pay women as much as men because there isn't the money for that. Unless you have a money tree that grows in your back yard.
