Boycott Nike!

Uh, you leave the inference you didn't hear about Nike's latest . . . um . . . faux pas with the flag shoes this week. Seems they're not particularly concerned about whom they offend in that respect.

Not many stadiums fly a flag with 13 stars.

Yeah, the national anthem thing was a year ago, but it's a callback to a directly related issue. Just think, would you equally call it out if a liberal made a meme that said something like "Kaepernick gets Nike to withdraw American flag shoes, conservatives haven't been this upset since the Kaepernick/Nike national anthem thing last year"?

I call out both sides on things. Conservatives are obsessed with gays that don't bother them, or constitutional amendments against flag burnings, stuff like that. But it's partly a function of who's in power, and right now it's the left that's in kind of the most extreme mode.

Yeah, but it's still fairly fresh in recent memory, so most people understand the connection and reference.

It's like sanctions against Iran they keep slapping on since 1979.
Like what have we forgetten to sanction in 40 frikken years, 2600yo clay vials of Cyrus the Great's sweat?

Same deal with Nike, how many times can you not buy from them ever again anymore?

Small towns with parades for the Homecoming game. Cousin of mine round FT Worth was showing us pics once of one of his daughters in the marching band, and it was practically a stadium for a school team, for crying out loud.

These people are not giving that up because of some Kaepernick & Co faux martyrism stunt.

They will likely see another jump in sales, just like last time.

This is about Nike caving to Collin Crapondick and removing shoes from stores that have absolutely nothing to do with slavery or anything else (except maybe patriotism). So...kind of timely.
