Don't be misleading: his opinion was that European countries should take in refugees, educate them, look after them, and arrange for them to return to their country of origin AFTER being looked after.

He is fine with some number of those refugees staying in their new host country.

So, don't twist his words: there's a context here that you are not a fan of at all.

This is an exact headline I used from a MSM article (I tend to do that on my memes). Sorry I can't take credit for you perceiving it as misleading, nor have I intended in that way. This isn't the first time that Dalai Lama has said it, so I thought it's clear by now what he means.

Indeed, don't twist my words. I am a big fan of that 'context' and would love to see it implemented. My point is that this AFTER is not happening... it would trigger way too many phobias and 'ism's in people, and it would be a fascist thing to do.

I didn't say I agreed with the Dalai Llama on this one - I said he doesn't agree with Trump or anti-immigration in general.

The Dalai Lama has flip flopped on this issue. In 2016 he stated the EU migrant should go home and that EU should cap them. He went on to say that some cultures shouldnt mix. He should be in the expert in that huh??? Fast forward to today he is now saying the US should take them. There is a context and its that the Dalai Lama is just a human / false prophet propped up by whoever will pay for his next visit t so they can show how enlightened they are for flying him on a plane to their country.
