Even if we do have the money, it's not like we need a massive wall there. Most people get into the U.S. by plane. Also, how about making the immigration process easier? Then, people would likely rather just do that than enter illegally. I feel like this whole thing is just both sides being idiots, and lacking communication skills.

Okay, that was an overgeneralization. Both sides *usually* being idiots. There are always diamonds in the rough.

I believe that will solve the immigration problem in an amazing way! In fact, I think we didn't have a problem with illegal immigrants before, until 2007 when illegal immigration started to rise! Around that time, immigration laws were made more strict, causing more people TO immigrate illegally!

Exactly! People usually come to the U.S. for a better life, be it moving in with family or getting a better job. The only reason we became such a superpower in the first place is because we HAD people from all walks of life collaborating to create a nation with freedom for all. We've had some bumps in the road, but overall, we're a symbol of freedom to those all around the world, even if we're much less than perfect.
