Fair point. But doesn't excuse the conditions in said concentration camps. Additionally, what would you call those camps? Internemnt Camps? Refugee Camps?

What conditions? They get food, shelter. Entertainment. It costs over $500 a night to house a child refugee/asylum seeker/whatever. Cheaper for adults but still. AOC just wants to divide. If these people are escaping such hard times that they want asylum, which should be if their lives are in danger, they're better off in the 'camps'. If not, they're economic migrants owed squat.

Internment camps are during times of war. I'd call it an asylum processing center. Camps sounds too much like something in times of war. Like a pow camp. With strained resourses.

I don't know. I've read a couple of reports by the Zeit and ZDF where the situation in some Camps are rather dire and crowded. Partly even people being held in cages. But to be fair the reports also state those were extreme cases and there were much better Camps at other locations. I can't actually find them tho. :P

Well, there is a crisis at the border, so overcrowding could be a problem. As far as I'm concerned, money that goes to central American countries for aid should be partially cut and that money used to expand facilities. Then you may see those countries start to care.

I mean that depends, are said countries reliant of foreign aid or not? Because if they are, cutting it off could have an undesirable effect of causing a government collaps and
even mkre refugees . But if they aren't it could be used to create incentives to improve and the money could be used to help expand Border facilities.

You don’t have to pay taxes for this crap and you don’t have to put up with a crazy party in your country that is ignoring American citizens in favor of illegals. They didn't actually choose to be rounded up and placed into overfilled camps while waiting months at a time for their hearing.

So if Mexico is just as bad as their home country, are you suggesting the US grant asylum to all Mexicans? Yes the same problems exist throughout the region but immigration and asylum isn’t the cure.

Yes, they chose to be put in camps rather than stay in or return to their home country. Nobody is forcing them to stay in these camps. They are free to return to their home any time they want.

Thats what they are applying for. They went to the border to apply for asylum were scooped up by Border patrol and put into these camps to await Processing.

Actually no. By law, one is suppose to apply for asylum in the first foreign country you arrive at. You can't pick and choose. Or half the world would end up in Sweden, America, Canada etc. (altho I don't know if that's the case in Europe)
